Privacy Policy
1. Overview & Commitment
Welcome to AZM RISE ("we," "our," or "the App"), a self-discipline, habit tracking, goal planning, and focus management application designed to help you build positive momentum in your life.
We believe your personal growth, daily habits, and reflections belong exclusively to you. AZM RISE is architected as an offline-first application. We do not sell your personal information, do not track you across other applications or websites, and do not display third-party advertisements.
2. Data Stored on Your Device (Offline-First)
By default, all your productivity data is stored exclusively in a local SQLite database (powered by Drift) on your device's internal storage:
- Habits & Routines: Titles, recurrence schedules, checklists, reflections, target quantities, and completion logs.
- Goals & Milestones: Objectives, targeted completion dates, scheduled sessions, and progress analytics.
- Tasks & Todo Lists: Task items, due dates, priority levels, subtasks, and completion statuses.
- Focus Timer Records: Pomodoro / stopwatch sessions, productive minutes logged, and milestone streaks.
- Preferences & Settings: Theme (dark/light), sound choices, notification vibration toggles, and locale settings.
3. Account & Optional Cloud Backup
If you choose to sign in to enable cross-device synchronization or cloud backup, we use Google Firebase infrastructure:
🔑 Firebase Authentication
Handles secure sign-in (via Google Sign-In or Email). We process your unique Firebase User ID (UID), verified email address, and display name solely to identify your backup vault.
☁️ Cloud Firestore
Provides encrypted storage for your synced habits, tasks, and goal metadata. Backups occur only on user request or automatic sync when enabled in Settings.
4. Notifications & Device Permissions
To help you maintain consistency, AZM RISE requests specific Android/iOS device permissions:
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+) / User Notifications (iOS): Used exclusively to deliver your configured habit reminders, goal alarms, and timer completion notifications.
- SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: Used to schedule punctual, precise habit reminders and focus alarms at the exact minute requested.
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Used to restore your scheduled local notifications after restarting or rebooting your phone.
5. Third-Party Sharing & Service Providers
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal or productivity data.
We only share data with essential infrastructure service providers that comply with stringent security standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR):
- Google Cloud / Firebase: Authentication, Firestore cloud sync database, and Firebase Hosting. (Firebase Privacy Policy)
6. Data Retention Policy
- Local Data: Stored on your device until you manually clear application data or uninstall the app.
- Cloud Backup Data: Stored securely in your private Cloud Firestore collection for as long as your account remains active.
- Deleted Data: When you delete a habit, goal, task, or your entire account, the associated data is permanently erased from both local storage and cloud servers.
7. Account & Data Deletion (User Rights)
In accordance with Google Play Data Safety standards and international privacy regulations (GDPR / CCPA), you have full control over your data:
In-App Instant Deletion
Open AZM RISE → Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your authentication record and all Cloud Firestore backups immediately.
Web Deletion Request
You can also request immediate account and data deletion online via our Account Deletion Request Page without having the app installed.
8. Children's Privacy
AZM RISE is designed for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
9. Security & Encryption
We enforce robust security mechanisms to safeguard your data:
- Encryption in Transit: All communication with Firebase servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS 1.3/HTTPS.
- Encryption at Rest: Cloud Firestore databases use Google-managed 256-bit AES encryption at rest.
- Granular Security Rules: Firestore security rules ensure that authenticated users can only read and write their own data.
10. Contact & Privacy Inquiries
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy, or if you need to remove/delete your account and personal data, please contact the developer directly:
